Ceylon Beverage International has commissioned a new high-speed carbonated soft drink filling line at its Horana Export Processing Zone facility, increasing total CSD output capacity by 40%.
The upgrade adds precision in-line carbonation and expands available can and PET formats, allowing CBI to shorten lead times for existing partners while onboarding new export accounts across the Middle East. The investment forms part of CBI's broader capacity roadmap to support growing demand from both regional and international beverage brands.
"This expansion lets us respond faster to seasonal demand spikes without compromising on quality or turnaround," said a CBI production lead. "It's a direct response to what our export partners have been asking for."
